Toby丨Chengwei Mao
is a 'someone' currently based in Glasgow, UK.
His M.Res project explores object analysis on digitally transformed artworks from art viewers’ perspective in the digitalised exhibition context. His practice involves process-oriented, slow-paced performative objects with physical experiential accessibility, which experiments on human–object relations and communication potentials through art objects. He is also interested in speculative realism philosophies, phenomenology, material culture, and curatorial ethics in creative practice.
